Beginners' Course / 初心者コース

This is an 8-session course for those new to the tea ceremony. In this course, you will learn how to make a delicious bowl of matcha in the basic thin tea making procedure, manners in the tearoom as a guest, and other etiquettes of the tea ceremony. Lessons can be in English, Japanese or a mix. The lesson is generally 1-2 hours, depending on the number of people. (Max. 4 persons)

The course fee (Total of 8-sessions): 39,600 JPY

※ 5% discount if two or more people sign up and practice together

After the Beginners' Course, you can continue with the Tea Ceremony Class if you wish. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us here.

茶道が初めての方を対象とした全８回のコースです。このコースでは、基本の薄茶点前での美味しいお抹茶の点て方、お客様としての茶室でのマナー、その他、茶道の美しい所作を学びます。お稽古は、日本語、英語、またはミックスでも可能です。人数により変動しますが、１レッスン大体１～2時間です。（最大4名）

Tea Ceremony Class / 茶道教室

This class is for those who have completed the Beginners' Course or have some experience. In addition to making delicious matcha, you will learn about the tea ceremony (the way of tea), which is a traditional Japanese culture and a comprehensive art form, including such as flowers for tea and the hanging scroll in the tearoom. Lesson is tailored to each individual's needs and progress.

Classes are mainly held during the day on weekends and public holidays and in the evenings on weekdays. Other dates and times may be available on request. Lessons can be in English, Japanese or a mix. The lesson is generally 1-2 hours, depending on the number of people. (Max. 4 persons) You can apply for certificates of permission (kyojo from Urasenke) based upon your progress. Click here to contact us.

1 Lesson / Month:  5,500 JPY 

2 Lessons / Month: 10,000 JPY

* There is no sign up fee for those who start lessons within 2 months of completing the beginners' course. The sign up fee for all others is 10,000 JPY.

初心者コースを修了された方、茶道経験のある方が対象のクラスです。美味しいお抹茶を点てるのはもちろん、茶花や茶室にかけられる掛軸など、日本の伝統文化であり、総合芸術といわれる茶道を学びます。各自のご希望や進度に合わせてご指導いたします。

土日祝日の日中と平日夜が中心のクラスです。お稽古は、日本語、英語、またはミックスでも可能です。人数により変動しますが、１レッスン大体１～２時間です。希望者には許状申請も可能です。（入門から茶名まで）お問い合わせはCONTACTから。

月１回：5,500円

月２回：10,000円

※初心者コース終了から２ヶ月以内にお稽古を開始される方の入会金は不要です。それ以外の方の入会金は１万円です。
